Finally, the album "The Flowers of the Evil"! Hooray!

Now, time to get the changelog. You already know that two tracks ("Too Much Quiet" and "The Flowers of the Evil") have been patched for quality issues at least. Here are more details.

Remember : "instrument" means that an instrument has been added or changed, "mixdown" is for the volumes, "lyrics" indicate a lyric change, "patch" is a repair of the demo, "extension" indicates that the song length has been raised.

When there isn't a title, that means that the album version is the same as the demo version.
Concerning patched songs (they are in yellow), it is highly recommended to replace your demos by the album versions if you have downloaded them. Better quality.

- tracks 2, 4, 5 and 6 are high quality
- tracks 3, 7, 8 and 9 are normal quality

Also, the albums now have a tracking number. This is an identifiant I'll use for every albums I've made. A list of all codes will be available soon (probably in a Google Sheet like the other catalogs).

To be honest, I began working on the music few days ago and it got stopped several times, maybe because I was afraid to fail it.
It's slower than usual (112BPM only) and I also had difficulties to finish it. I finally got a "correct" quality, but I'll try to do better with next songs, promised.

This is the day without any new song, but you have a whole album instead, so, I thought it would be a good idea. You still would have something to listen to. I changed the voicebank for "Too Much Quiet", the quality isn't perfect either, but a few better compared to the demo. Also, I fixed the problem with Itako and her "robotic-sounding" phoneme. Story : about a girl who has a very, very serious mental disorder... She often hears voices telling her to end the world, for example by harming or killing people. She tried to fight against it, nothing to do. She even loses her sleep, driving her deeper in the insanity. (No, really, insomnia can drive you crazy at a certain point) And when people try to warn her, she often sees them as bad people.
Music : very cold and dark music, using Toxic Biohazard for the sequence pad and the second lead (the pluck too, since this is the same instrument as the lead). Atmo pad by PoiZone, which also does an excellent work for this type of things... And makes some parts of the music more disturbing. Simple music but very efficient.

For Stella's birthday! And actually this is the best song featuring her that I made.
For info, Morgana isn't a yandere. The lyrics may look like a yandere song a few, but she is just (at least here) a torn woman, not hesitating to manipulate some people... And who can actually be a good person, especially for healing some people.
For those who understood, it's inspired by the myth of the fairy Morgan. This is a tricky one, to the point I had to modify several things, remove another ones... The problem is that the point of view of people for Morgana has changed from the good to the bad one. First seen as being nice, then as an evil and jealous "witch". No kidding, her image really was degraded in the time.
So yeah, the lyrics were a few a pain to write!
Music : sequence pad by Toxic Biohazard, except for the bridge one that was made with a Sytrus preset. The pluck is an ensemble of 2 Sawer presets, and the lead track is with GMS (long time I haven't used this one by the way).

Title : it's a pun with the 2 numbers of death, "4" for Japan, "13" for Occidental countries. Then I changed a letter in the "4". It gave this. (Double death!)
Music : the first lead track was made with Sawer, all the rest with Toxic Biohazard. The beats are 100% homemade for this one (even the roll)... And else, on Twitter, there is a screenshot if you want to see further!
Song itself and story : this is the most subtile yandere story I made with MAYU ("SELEMINA" and "KALLIDORA" being more brutal). I know the lyrics may not be very clear on this side, so I'll explain a few. The lover of the heroine is actually someone who was cursed by many people, these last ones even wanting her death. Wow... Long time there was no news. Yeah, since the last album.

- I haven't worked yet on album versions for "The Flowers of the Evil". The thing is that I need to patch 2 tracks.
1) "Too Much Quiet". There will be chances that I'll change the version of Nyui, and that I'll use lemon or vivid. Since I'm not the one who does the rendering, it slows a few down the pace. Plus I have to do tests of the .ust first. I think that the problem of "off time capella" comes or from the voicebank (in this case I'll use another one) or from the .ust itself when I wrote the notes.
2) "The Flowers of the Evil" (the track). A vibrato causes a note to sound weirdly robotic and that's why there's no silver star in the recommendations for this one. Normally the album ver should have one, but I have to correct the .ust (here, only a vibrato to lower) and I'm not the one who does the rendering either.

Concerning others, there are already excellent quality tracks, "White Dress", all the songs with Zunko in general, some ones with Itako as well... Any changes? Don't know. Some of them won't be extended for sure ("Flown Away", already 5min30... Maybe a bit much?). I'll see that in the future days.

For the CD11.5 (the first album to get some tracks featuring MAYU and CUL, yay!) the title is "Stranger Sorceresses". This can sound a bit weird, but there are references to two songs, "Circe" (this one is quite good) and "Strangers" (the song for Yukari's birthday).
The air date will be on January 21st.

I thought that would be weird to work on songs for this album (the birthday ones, especially for Yukari, CUL and Oniko) soon after the others ones, but with the pace and my fatigue (again...), we will be on a good time!

I'm still doing a few "one song during the week, one song during the weekend" so it's still in the current pace, that's why I don't change it. But when you see the dates when I composed the instru and the one when I finished the whole song...

Other thing. For the holidays, I'll set the fast pace from December 19th to January 1st. There will be some days without any song aired.
The reason is that I'll air two songs on December 22nd (on a Thursday), the birthday songs for CUL and Yukari. The pace will be "a song per day" (I WILL maintain it!) so in the first week, there will be one day (not the 25th though, because Oniko will have a song for her birthday) without any song aired. Originally I wrote more lyrics for this one, and then, when I made the .vsqx, I had to remove 2 parts for the choruses, I left the ones that were the most coherent in the general way.
Third song with Zunko, third very high quality song with her. Wow.
Music : the first gated pad with Harmor, Slayer playing all along, T-Force Alpha for many of leads, Sakura for the pluck during the choruses (yeah, the one going faster and faster) and Sytrus for a little lead in the choruses but that we don't hear very well (it's very slight). I think that if you listen to the instru, you'll better hear the Sytrus one.

You already know what happened to me. This is also a song with one harmony (2 notes lower than the main) and with linear singing. I also had some troubles with the saturation, also I made another treatment for the mixdown on the master track (the other time I did this was a test and it was for the song "Sister Revenge").

Due to the recent incidents (the fatigue and all...) and to the fact I still have two totally free days (on Monday and on Tuesday), I'll also consider next week with the current pace (from 3 to 6 songs a week) and I'll try to concentrate everything on Monday and Tuesday.

Like I said in the last post, I got several "blank page syndrome phases", the motivation wasn't really there, but now it is back, and I'm working on several songs in the same time, at different statuses.

For "Reminiscence", it should not be long for now, wait for one hour at least I guess.

The next ones will be "Chloris" (with IA, the instru is finished), then "The Flowers of the Evil" (with Itako, lyrics written, just the instru to do). The track "Too Much Quiet" (with Nyui milky, this one isn't in progress for now) will normally be for this week, after, the track with Zunko to finish the demos for December album.

Also, sorry for not airing lots of songs since the one with CUL, I had several troubles recently :

- the fatigue. I had again lots of fatigue that slowed me down. I hope to get rid of it soon...
- problem of motivation. These last days and I guess you know why, I lost some of my motivation for doing songs, and trust me, composing or writing without liking it at this moment... This is really sad.
- problem of inspiration. The "blank page syndrome" if you know it, every artist knows it one day or another, I'm not an exception, and I have difficulties for composing and writing lyrics because of that as well.

Well... Let's hope everything will be fine in the next days? The covers of "EMIRIA" and "LUNARIA" are out, regardless the stereo problem of "EMIRIA" (because Nectar Elements has some stereophonic troubles...).

Next song should be "Reminiscence" (I finished the instru).

Like I said few days ago, I wanted to make a song about the consort of Town of Salem, the "mafia escort", in charge to keep some people busy, disturb town as much as possible... But personally, when I play it, I love seeking for a possible serial killer or werewolf, reveal their possible names and get them lynched! (Deceive the town when you are a mafia is very important in this game!)
Same as when I did "Submit or Die", I censored some possible ideas about these roles. Here, it's just a beautiful dancer. And again thought about the femme fatale making you dance!
Music : this is one of the musics which won't be compatible with the former FL versions (12.3 and older). Harmless and PoiZone as pads, Transistor Bass (the little new one!) as a sort of arp, Sawer as the pluck.

OK second and last news for today.

I just acquired the Transistor Bass synth. The season for the songs still stays the same. For those who don't know, it's a little new synth created by Image-Line, specialized in acid sounds. Could be very useful!

Remember : on this week I'll air more songs than an usual one with the slow pace, maybe one of them will feature Transistor Bass, who knows? (^_^) And on Saturday, album airing!

Sister song of "KALLIDORA", killer point of view.
(Yes, the title contains an Easter Egg, it was this one, it's a few easy to guess now)
Title : Actually the first name I found was "Celimena", then, deformed, Easter Egg... That gave this.
Music : I actually had a lot of troubles for the capella (verses part) with the instru, because of notes alignment. I can't do better sadly. Sequence pads with Toxic Biohazard, but one of the leads is with Sytrus.
Story : This is actually quite an irony for a yandere to tell that her sister is the crazy one... The fact is that they're both in love with the same girl, who decided to live with Kallidora (the sister). Each on her side, each sister decides to eliminate the other. Kallidora thinks about it, but fails. Selemina succeeds and finally kills her sister.

Title : I just changed a few a Greek name. The real one begins with a "c".
Story : see the sister post. (It's also a MAYU song).
Music : Toxic Biohazard for all the sequence pads and Sakura as a pluck. I had less difficulties for this song though, the problem is that it all depends of the preset of TBio. Hopefully, these ones had an easier pattern for 1/8 melodies.

For songs, I'm currently working on "SELEMINA" and "KALLIDORA". They will be aired at the same time. This week the pace will be a few faster (because holidays) but on Saturday, there will be no song airing, you'll already have an album instead (the album "Forsaken")!

I. Finally. Got. MAYU. Wow, that was hard!

Who asked for a new yandere singer? (๑>ᴗ<๑)

This is the first unlock of a two unlocks series. CUL is the next one. If everything happened correctly I'd unlock her on yesterday, but then I asked to the post to send her to me on tomorrow (instead of getting her on Wednesday).

A new yandere singer to the team, that's just great. Thanks again to the persons who helped me getting her (including feli, who gave me again the idea for getting her, because else, I'd give up a long time ago!)!
Seriously between some sellers which don't sell material to France, some others with insane prices and others with the need to use a specific system to buy that I can't use...

I'll change the order of her songs. Her two sister songs will be the first ones to be aired. On the next days, be ready to it. "SELEMINA" and "KALLIDORA" on the list. Concerning "Reminiscence", I began working on the instru... But I think I still have a lot more to do, and to not be blocked, I rathered changing the order.

Music : the electro bells by Toxic Biohazard, other bells by Autogun, pluck by Sakura, Slayer for the guitar (obvious), there is also FL Keys for a piano track (very light) and PoiZone for the background pad. Well, plenty of plugins!
Story : about a girl trying to be noticed by her lover, already in love with someone else. She does not bear this well and tries to get her attention, first by hurting herself, then by killing her rival to get her lover for herself all alone. And of course, I let you guess... It does not work like that. And this is certainly the good way to get someone's attention.

There is now a date for unlocking MAYU, it will be on Sunday (November 6th)! Still no news about CUL, but it should not be that long either. Maybe for the end of this week or the next one.

I avoided the yandere topic, yay. I'm still okay for tragedies with Kiritan.
Actually I began this instru almost one week ago, but then I made the instru for "Drama Queen", its production got over the status of the "Sophia" one and then... Here it is.
Music : pad by Sakura, arp pads by Sawer.
Story : this one is a little tricky... The heroine is actually a former stalker in love with a girl who finally discovered what she did wrong and tried to correct her behavior. She finally succeeded after promising it to her lover, but this last one being scared of an eventual relapse, decided to run away from her. Sophia, feeling lonely and feeling her love feelings overriding her own control, decides to end her life before hurting more her lover.

What a wonderful occasion to create a "punny" title!
The expression "drama queen" is often used for a person who is always complaining about something, and also often, getting others angry. But in another way, "drama" is also an art... Isn't it just playing with the feelings of other people to get some more attention?
I must admit it, I used a few Kizana Sunobu (Yandere Simulator) as inspiration source for this song! (^_^)
