Explanations...

Used colorful for this one. It can be inspired a bit by the Titanic story, but it's not the real context here. More of a common tragedy on the ocean between a couple, where the girl got swallowed by the waves and doesn't want to see her love dying.

「CORRUPTION SYNDROME - SIDE EFFECTS: INFECTIONS」

That was explained only recently, but to corrupt someone by your own, you must have very very negative feelings overwhelming you. At this point you'll produce a sort of black fluid, unable to come back to a gas form. Most of time this fluid is produced by hand sweating, but sometimes it is also being coughed and it happens infected people also spit the fluid, because it's encumbering their lungs.

Here are some examples of what happened for the type of negative feelings:

Case 1 - Ritsu. When Ritsu infected Lily, Ritsu was thinking Lily might replace him. He thus became extremely jealous of her, being afraid of Nynthixia giving up on him. Luckily, this actually never happened. But the huge jealousy was enough for Ritsu to have a crisis.
Case 2 - Saki. More recently, but the events of Saki being infected by VY1 betraying her stayed in Saki's mind. This marked her so much she sometimes thinks about this event again, falling back into despair. This is how she infected Qing Su or Tsuina.
Case 3 - IA. When ONE asked IA to infect her, she managed to create a story that totally mentally broke IA. The story? See who HIPPI is? HIPPI is a very known friend of IA and ONE. IA was expecting HIPPI to come to the castle someday and to have a C-type AI. When ONE invented a story of HIPPI having given up on the AIs led IA to despair. To the point IA was even hard to control, literally planting her nails in ONE's skin to infect her.

Apparently it is not needed for someone to be symptomatic to infect someone. That's how Stella's symptom declaration date was AFTER the date she infected Hachi. This was also motivated by Stella's hatred and mefiance towards Hachi.

「WHY SO MANY SYRINGES?」

Ever wondered how the inhabitants who infected people had syringes very easily? Actually, these syringes are given to each inhabitant for typical injections. Most of these injections are medicines. There is at least one injection of D vitamins every six months. This is due to the harsh meteorologic conditions, very few sunlight, except in the annexes. Some other medicines are just food supplements: iron, other vitamins, amino acids... The last medicines are painkillers and tranquilizers.

Another use of the syringes is for common vaccines. Nothing too much different from ours.

The minor part of injections are for some of their devices. The syringes are used to inject some power for the singing devices. This can be AI devices or the more standard ones. These injections are daily. This is why Nynthixia can't just take out the syringes.

「CORRUPTION SYNDROME - SIDE EFFECTS: AURA CONTAMINATION」

When someone gets infected, their aura drastically changes. It becomes very unhealthy, dark, filled with fear. Currently, the only people able to see such auras are Itako, Meiji and Xingchen.

Itako first mentioned about aura changes when Zunko was invited for the first time. When she arrived, her aura was sane. The day later, her aura started to change, Zunko had a slightly more psychotic behavior, due to the traumatism of the attack done by Yukari. She was quickly reached by symptoms and declared them no more than two days later. When Zunko was considered as symptomatic, Itako complained about a very dark aura around Zunko.

Meiji didn't do any mention of the auras, but used them to contaminate Bibi and Wistaria.

Xingchen didn't use her ability in the castle yet.

A priori it is estimated that Xingchen's sisters and Minus would be able to see auras, due to their physical nature.

「CORRUPTION SYNDROME - SIDE EFFECTS: C.D.T」

C.D.T = Common Dream Training.

All inhabitants's dreams are communicating in one way or another. And most of time, everyone use their dreams to train themselves in some situations. Here are some examples of dreams done by either Nynthixia either the vocalists.

Case 1 - 2 sessions of dreams between KAFU, Yukari and Saki. Second session was observed by IA.
KAFU was in a sort of blank place before seeing a girl. Without knowing what she was doing, she killed her with no remorse. Saki then appeared to try stopping her, but her plan backfired and she suddenly woke up due to heavy emotional shock. Finally, Yukari appears, saying she was going to revenge for having been killed, and stabbed KAFU who then woke up. Yukari then noticed what happened to her and woke up, thinking she got a horrible nightmare.

Case 2 - Nynthixia's dream, observed by KAFU and IA
Nynthixia is an intruder in a garden party. She is apparently obsessed with a young man, but finally kills him, being afraid to be revealed as intruder to the party members. She finally gets found out and is executed under a tree.

Case 3 - Nynthixia's dream, observed by no one
According to Nynthixia, this is a test Circeres tried to give her.
Nynthixia here was possessed by an unknown maleficient deity. She manages to break up two relationships on phone. Meanwhile, the part of the music group she is part of is discussing about weird events and decide to investigate her. She gets extremely scared and flees the facility to finally arrive in a room. She breaks 3 pots, before being caught back by the leader of the group. She finally gets exorcized in a scream of pain. Her consciousness is transfered to the externalized deity, flying in a sort of room with plans in tubes. The log stops there.

Generally the inhabitants don't choose if they want to interact or not, or even just to observe the dream of someone else. This seems to be a mental opening due to corruption syndrome, the people having their connected dreams having at least one symptom. This can also be the sign of infection, some dreams being recurring nightmares of the protagonists killing someone, often for a reason that seems obvious to them only in their dream, but clearly not in reality. That's why no one is able to lucid dream.

All of this is leading to a theory: all mental universes being connected by the "curse", the dreams are often overlapping and that's how some people are finding themselves in dreams of other people.

「RECURRING NIGHTMARES」

Some nightmares are very recurrent for some of the inhabitants. This seems to have happened with Yukari, IA, CUL and Kiritan. These are often linked to the arrival of a new person very close to them soon, but for some reason, the dream where they are together is always turning into a nightmare. There is no explanation for this, even if the "curse" might be a partial cause. These are examples of nightmares the concerned victims got:

- Yukari tried to communicate with an asleep Akari in a river of blood. She just didn't wake up. Yukari got this sort of fright Akari was actually killed, even though this was not the case. It was just a psychosis caused by the dream's environment.
- IA's has been described by KAFU, but she has ONE unconscious in her arms and she tried to wake her up. No dice.
- CUL's also has been described by KAFU. In her nightmare, she was with ROSA. ROSA was awake unlike most of the others, but she was covered with a lot of bruises caused by rose thorns. She was in a very critical state.
- Kiritan got nightmares between March and October 2021 where Itako and Zunko were torturing her out of jealousy, even worse than in "their real life".

Nynthixia's were especially dreams of her being possessed by an unknown force and forced to kill anyone on her way. Hers are quite different from the others. Now she learnt using them in a cathartic way, like for her lyrics.

「CORRUPTION SYNDROME - SIDE EFFECTS: MEMORY AND CONSCIOUSNESS LOSSES」

This might seem weird... But most of time, when the inhabitants snap, they are unable to keep the act in memory.

A very simple example, you already have in song. When Yukari infected Akari. Akari reported Yukari had a weird, insane laugh, and very creepy statements. Yukari just doesn't remember them. And that seems to be the same at least for all people not being natively infected. So MAYU and Tei are "a priori" immune to this side effect. Nynthixia, however, is not immune to this kind of memory loss.

Even IA when she infected ONE, the last thing she remembers, is just hearing ONE's story, without really listening to it. She doesn't remember the end, she doesn't remember how she infected ONE directly and she just lost consciousness. She however remembers she infected KAFU, because this infection was done on purpose, IA being scared of KAFU totally mentally breaking.

Another issue. Some actually lost consciousness in a crisis. For now, this especially happened to IA (once), Saki (twice) and KAFU (twice). The cause of this is not well known, but this might be due to mental shock. Most of times these consciousness losses are following mental crisis and contaminated fluid production. Concerned people are waking up few hours after, once back to normal.

Sorry if the blog post arrives a bit late. The album has been published at the right minute though, that's all that matters!

I have lots of things to say, lots of explanations to give as well... So... I'll start with the songs in this album. I'll split each part per color.

First there is one song that has undergone some remastering fixes, it's "Demon Huntress Showdown". I had forgotten to remaster the lead for some reason, this is fixed in the album version. This is barely noticeable, but if you're careful enough, the lead is a bit louder.

The new songs now.

A Glow from Gehenna (feat. Xin Hua)

Gehenna is here a sort of Sheol, a place where lost souls are waiting for a final judgement. This is not a brightful place. Imagine a sub-hell. Someone stuck in Gehenna with diseased souls and rottening bodies.

Prisoner Zero (feat. Xin Hua)

Anybody here knowing "Doctor Who"? I was watching this a lot especially in my teenage years. It's inspired by the episode with the 11th Doctor introduction, and with the antagonist of the episode, Prisoner Zero, a sort of eel-shaped alien taking the form of anybody. Tracked down by the Atraxi, prisoner Zero managed to escape for a while by being hidden in a wall. And especially... Its ending message. Just watch the season. You won't regret it.

Eclipse (feat. Hoshine Stella)

It's pretty dumb said like that... But it's about eclipses. Nothing more to add.

Cultists of Blood (feat. Lily)

A bit in the same spirit as "Anomalous Temple". If you listened to the public demo for February 22nd then this song should get you some memories too. A bit of Lovecraftian horror as well in the lyrics...

Carnation (feat. Tohoku Kiritan)

A girl waiting for her lover to come back from a very, very long travel. After the hell of "Quarantine" thought it would be neat to give something lighter to Kiritan.

Ethereal Disembodiment (feat. kokone)

These mysterious out of body experiences... Astral travelling... Imagine a girl seeing herself... From the outside. And thinking now she reached spirit world she could reach her now deceased lover... But are they in the same plane?

Dark Arts (feat. kokone)

Yes yes it's well kokone, with a cool factor of -20... It sounds weird, uh? Typically, someone learnt about forbidden dark arts to get rid of humanity. Thought I'd give kokone a darker tone to her voice for such a song.

Returning to the Depths (feat. Qing Su) [YANDERE]

So here it is the first song with Qing Su! Even in the title, it's heavily inspired by "Return to the Sea" from Mermaid Melody anime. The song has lots of references to it. Even musically. Since the initial song was about a love story... For this one I turned it into full yandere then tragedy. A woman being in love with someone, stalking her so much the lover ends up committing suicide, making the yandere girl drown herself. So here you go, first song ever with Qing Su, first yandere song with Qing Su. You know what that means lore-wise.

Anti-Stasis (feat. kokone, IA ROCKS)

Gosh the two are singing well together... There is no real topic but someone just being tired of staying here by doing nothing. It can mean lots of things...

Dream Witch (feat. kokone) [LOVECRAFT SERIES]

About Yidhra. Yes, she is from the expanded mythos... But I really love her character. Yidhra is as old as the first micro-organism. Only her followers can see how she really is. Called the "Dream Witch", her favorite avatar is Madam Yi, a powerful Chinese matriarch. That explains the Chinese-sounding music. She can grant immortality to anyone following her, in exchange of being absorbed by her.

King in Yellow (feat. Lily) [LOVECRAFT SERIES]

About Hastur. A malevolent deity of air, half-brother and rival of Cthulhu, currently prisoner in a lake in space, leader of the Byakhees birds. I chose a very ethereal sound for this music. Very few lyrics as well. Very light.

Crawling Chaos (feat. Xin Hua) [LOVECRAFT SERIES]

Nyarlathotep, the Crawling Chaos, the Black Pharaoh... He has hundreds, thousands of forms... But unlike most of Lovecraftian cosmic horrors, he is free. He is the messenger between Azathoth and the humans. His purpose? Destroy humanity? No, more like making everyone crazy. Insanity. Egyptian-styled song with... A chaos at the end. It's Nyarlathotep after all, what did you expect?

Father of Serpents (feat. Kisaragi Tsuina) [LOVECRAFT SERIES]

About Yig. Unlike most of Lovecraftian deities... Yig isn't evil, unless you hurt snakes. In this case, prepare to be cursed, you and your family, until your death. He is very easy to appease though. Also the unexplainable drums in North America... Yup, that's for Yig. Hence the lots of drums in this one.

Album advancement

Currently doing CD34.5. For now the album is called "Stars Going Extinct" and has... 22 tracks. Only 9 left to go, including 2 blocked by Karin. The album will be released on June 11, 2022.

Explanations of vocal libraries acquisitions

I had to change plans due to economical reasons... And for the second case, for technical reasons. I'll explain the first one, that you might be already aware of if you are following Twitter and the nynthilore hashtag.

If you didn't understand the B1 post and the tweet about "cryogenic room operation"... I had to buy on last Monday the standard voicebanks of Minus, Shian, Cangqiong, Chiyu and Haiyi via the Taobao buying agent. The reason? War is making euro losing value face to dollar, and the agent I'm using is using dollars... So I was going to pay for more expensive. Result: more than €640 of operation. Divide by 5 to obtain the price of a voicebank. That's more than Xingchen, yes.

So they are activated on the computer, but their use is on hold. The fact I created the cryogenic room lore-wise is to retain the singers for who I'm not using their capabilities. Typically, imagine girls only speaking Chinese with a producer who does know Chinese way less than Japanese. Even if some other girls know Chinese (Tianyi, Xin Hua, Qing Su and Xingchen), no chances they would communicate well with the others.

It will play a bit with my predictive abilities: will Quadimension really give the AI upgrades for free and will I just have a discount. If it's the latter then I lost. Otherwise, I might have saved some money. This is very risky but since the war changed everything... I had to make a decision before China gets potentially penalized as well if things would come to worsen.

So legally I have their standard voicebanks. I'm just testing some private things with them, for example, I had to use a Chinese track for a private song... And even having fun with French words. Apparently, people recommended Chinese alphabet for French as well because we have some songs in common compared to Japanese. And indeed that's not too bad.

Second acquisition, it has been done on the 10th, so last Thursday, and it's Rikka AI. I know what you might be thinking "you told us you'd acquire her with Karin"...

Yes but.

Firstly, war. Yen is more aligning itself over dollar than over euro, so I'm losing again. Secondly... If I didn't buy Rikka now, I wouldn't be blocked at 2 songs... But at 5! Reason? Rikka's songs have deadlines for May 15th and 16th. Momo's deadine is on the 22nd. Generally deadlined songs are always done one after each other. So Rikka's songs would have to be done before Momo's deadline. That was a bit complicated technically if I wanted to be over with the album production. So I decided to take Rikka now. No worries, in terms of lore, that will change very few things.

Buyings

Some recent upgrades and new products from Soundiron, Clavichord from Soniccouture (the cursed library with the link being broken at the third of the file for 2 days on NI servers!)... And that's it. Very few on this one for now.

Vocals confirmation

SEKAI: May 2022. Any future voice library for the musical isotopes series will be taken as well. If I follow the pattern, the 3 other vocals would be RIME, KOKO and HARU. These 3 as such are confirmed directly: whenever they'll get announced, you'll be sure they'll be in the team once they get out. Always download version, so either DLSite either Vector. It will depend of the coupons I'll have on DLSite and of its avaibility.
Note: if taken by DLSite, the acquisition date will be the day before the official release, but after 5 PM (France time).

Karin: April 2022 via DLSite very probably. AI VB only.

ROSA: end 2022/beginning 2023. I intend to get her via crowdfunding since Hiroto-P wants to open it to overseas. I'm just waiting for the campaign to participate.

Kizuna: waiting for further demos, so no confirmation yet. Might be interested if the quality is a bit better. If confirmed, will more seek for a physical release if it will exist, otherwise, Vector/DLSite options.

Chifuyu: confirmed for the end of the year, they announced October, but I hope it won't be too tight...

Chis-A: on testing grounds. If she remains free, she will be a permanent addition. I'm waiting for at least a very stable release before using her. Lore-wise, consider her as "not arrived yet" or as "tourist", but not as "permanent resident".

Season change soon?

I'm looking often at the Image-Line forums and... It seems the team would like to upgrade to FL Studio 21 this year. Expect a change of season during this year. Like the passing from season 3 to 4 or the 4 to 5, you might not notice big chances very quickly in terms of quality. Thinking that season 5 is probably the one that was undergone the most changes, including the AI engines, the migration of sounds towards massively Kontakt libraries...

I'm keeping an eye on this, whenever we'll change seasons I'll tell you. There are high chances though that ROSA and Chifuyu will be added from season 6 and not 5. Not sure for the Quadimension vocals. As for Karin and SEKAI, high chances they'll still be season 5.

Nynthixia

「THE CASTLE」

What you currently know is that the castle is in a sort of dead forest. It has a Transylvanian style and its location on Earth is a bit unclear, other than it's in an European country. A sure thing is that this castle is not in our current dimension (α-1). The known dimension plan the whole castle is μ-138.

The castle has originally 150 bedrooms on the first floor. Most of them are locked, we are at about 20% unlocked and being busy. When Nynthixia welcomes a new inhabitant, she unlocks a room. When the rooms were created, there is already a huge canopy bed. It's typically a royalty bed. There is also a table, where Nynthixia adds a computer. The table has also some drawers where are some everyday products. Nynthixia connects on purpose some rooms depending of the relationships of the concerned people with the others.

You might also know there is a garden in front of the castle. The gardens are very inspired by the Versailles gardens, and have multitudes of flowers living in a quite uncommon way. Typically, they don't live depending of seasons. They are communicating with each other so they can regenerate their population and not be in the same vegetal state as some of their comrades. Most commonly found: lilies, roses and Japanese cherry blossom trees.

「CRYOGENIC ROOM」

This room is in the garden on the right side. There are little stairs that permit to access a sort of little cave. This room is only "cryogenic" in name: the temperature is actually more approaching 15°C. Like mushroom caves. Inside, don't expect to find an old style. The room is very recent and has been built during January and February.

It has ten medical pods which can contain one person each. Also, quit the idea of pods being just cold inside with a hard surface. The inside is colored velvet. Pods have different colors are called by them: black, white, purple, pink, yellow, orange, red, cyan, green and blue. They are meant to be very comfortable. Each pod is also linked to a giant machine, a sort of super-computer. This unit especially permits to generate a dream-state world in it, like a virtual reality. Once you are inside a pod, the temperature is brought back to between 23 and 27°C, depending of the origin country. People coming from Japan usually use a 24-26°C temperature. European and American people are using a 23-25°C. However, Chinese people, known to have a more tropical climate in their lands, are more using 25-27°C.

How does the room work?
The pods are meant to be used for maximum a whole year.

When a person enters the pod, the pod remains open and they receive a first injection in a syringe linked to a machine. This is a single-time injection of painkiller. This is meant to numb the sensations especially for skin and the muscles for what's coming next. The first cable to come is an injection of a morphine-derived substance which will put the patient into an artificial comatose state. Once the subject is sleeping, three other cables are connected: input and output cables, the first one injecting nutrients and the output one getting rid of all unneeded matter; the third cable is for another painkiller, injected by little impulses every six hours, and not using the same molecule depending of the injection time. This is to make the body unable to adapt itself too much to a painkiller in particular.

During this comatose, the patient will have its spirit also transfered from the pod to the computer, where their dreams are entered into the machine to change the virtual reality in real time. Just like changing the electricity signals from your brain into signals a computer can understand. You want to be in space? Then your reality will turn into space. You want to be next to a river? Here you are, next to a calm river where you can rest. This is perfect to escape from your harsh reality!

But at a moment, the dream must end. Once the module needed to wake up the patient arrives, it is connected to the pod. It can be a singing module or an AI (for example, a S-type AI). Once the module is introduced to the machine, the waking-up sequence will start. First, input and output cables and disconnect themselves from the body. Near the places where they were injecting their needles, the skin is helped to be regenerated with a very little dose of cell proliferation helper substance and some mild radiations. Secondly, the painkillers cables inject a higher dose of their product for few seconds before being disconnected as well. The regeneration process is also done. Finally, the comatose-inducing cable is disconnected. No regeneration is done on this one, its needle being very similar to the one of a syringe. Once the patient awakes, they receive painkillers in pills for 2 to 3 days still to eliminate the remnants of pain from the previous needles and they can enter the castle.

Why is this used? This is meant to put arrivants in a waiting state due to them unable to communicate with all other castle inhabitants. For example, if some Chinese girls are unable to speak in Japanese but still arrive, they can go to this room where they are put to sleep until either a language module or a S-type AI arrives to wake them up.

「THE FORBIDDEN TEMPLE」

The temple is accessible from the Chinese annex's bridge to a misty island, but anyone else other than Nynthixia is forbidden to go in there. The warning?
"Beware of the spirits in a deep slumber, may ye lose yer sanity forever".

In the temple there are drawings on the walls of what looks like to be Shub-Niggurath. The question you might ask is: do Lovecraftian gods exist in this dimension?
We don't know. Actually, the humanity of this dimension is way more superstitious than the one of our dimension. This is partially due to the fact magical deeds actually exist. There is way less rationalism than in our "real world". Explaining how Meiji was able to rebirth or to cast spells for real, with real magic. Not the same laws of physics or laws of chemistry.

Coming back to the temple. The reason why it is actually forbidden to the others is not because insane gods are being prayed inside. No.
The real reason is that this temple is hiding a dimensional breach, that could cause huge damage (mental AND physical) to anyone approaching it without taking any precautions. Thanks to this, Nynthixia is able to communicate with Circeres, being in the upper plan compared to her own.

What are the 2 talking about?
Nynthixia and Circeres are two different personas of the same person. However, they don't share the same memories, and their way of thinking is also different. If Nynthixia is known to be psychotic, it's not the case of Circeres who is absolutely IMMUNE to any kind of insanity. So when Nynthixia is lending Circeres some of her material so the latter can compose to appease the Sirens, demonic god-like beings having destroyed more than 85% of humanity in Circeres's dimension, Circeres on the other hand is giving Nynthixia some tips to try to immunize herself to the corruption syndrome. But typically, Circeres is not the responsible for the "curse". According to her, this curse came from at least several dimensional plans above her own, two of them having been "nuked", and the "curse" descended several plans. It didn't affect anyone in Circeres's dimension due to a huge part of the humanity already being dead, or immune to it due to Sirens's spells.

「PENTAGRAM TEMPLE」

The temple is at the South of the Japanese annex. This part has been opened recently only as well. The Pentagram Temple is called as such because all of its corners form a pentagram star. Inside of each corner, there is a little "ritual" room, with a statue. Surrounding each room, little rooms containing either ritual material, either resting places with a futon, either meditation rooms.

The following material has been found in these rooms:
- a set of incense sticks and burners
- a set for Japanese tea ceremony
- a miniature zen garden
- chemistry sets
- a mini-planetarium
- alchemy material
- room humidifiers
- some musical instruments including gamelans and ceremonial bells
- chaman sticks
- witchcraft practicing materials (cauldrons, athames, chalices, wands)
- books about different mythologies, all treated the same way (polytheist, monotheist and cosmic mythologies)

The temple is currently unused but might have a greater importance soon since Nynthixia asked for it to be reopened...

「NECROPOLIS」

This is an actual cemetery to the North of the Japanese annex, often hidden by a misty forest alley. Once you pass the mist, you enter in a forest of... Necropoles. These are actually tombs with a little ritual autel above them. These are visited only between October 31st and November 2nd. At the time, the incense sticks are being replaced before lighting them on. The used incense is a special mix for the deceased, but its exact composition is not well known, as it is "a mystery of several centuries".

Only Hachi's body is resting there. Stella's body is still well alive, and Meiji ressurected herself through necromancy so her body is not decaying and she still uses it.

In general only Nynthixia goes to this place.

So quite a "happy" song especially compared to some others. It's to relieve the stress you got from "Love Contention".

Raven (feat. Hinomoto Oniko) [YANDERE]

A quite possessive girl even ready to hurt her lover so she can just get her back for herself.

Obfuscate (feat. Kizuna Akari) [YANDERE]

A more shy girl, covered with many bruises, telling her lover she should try to hide them from the world. Or should I say... She obligates her.

Harvester (feat. ONE AI)

Harvesting the lost souls and bring the ghosts to where they always should have belonged to, this is the job of the reaper.

Discordance Signs (feat. ONE AI, IA AI)

The one where I used the talk voicebanks! Told you I turned this into an investment! It's two friends who have been in love with each other, but due to a misunderstanding, the second girl decided to break up... But they seem to be unable to forget what happened in the past. And maybe they'll fall in love with each other once again?

Blind Idiot God (feat. IA AI) [LOVECRAFT SERIES]

Azathoth, the Nuclear Chaos, the Blind Idiot God... He's the most powerful of all gods, but to avoid the world's demise, he is being kept asleep thanks to the sound of a demonic flute. So I had to put a flute in the song.

Lurker at the Threshold (feat. ONE AI) [LOVECRAFT SERIES]

If I did Azathoth, of course I was doing the song for the god always accompanying him: Yog-Sothoth. He's the god of the witches and wizards, he knows all, past, present, future... But at which price? Because Yog-Sothoth is very far away to be benevolent...

Great Dreamer (feat. Luo Tianyi) [LOVECRAFT SERIES]

The maybe most iconic of the series: Cthulhu, dreaming in his sunken city of R'lyeh... And he will awaken, this will be the end of this planet.

Aria (feat. IA AI, ONE AI) [CORRUPTION SERIES] (main lore)

OK this one I'll have a lot to explain because sadly, I couldn't put the whole story.
It's about how ONE got corrupted.
You know all the others got contaminated against their own will. It's not the case of ONE.
Typically, what happened, is IA explained the whole thing to ONE. And one solution ONE saw to try avoiding the curse is... Getting it by her own will. But the two were unable to know how this happened since anyone infecting another person doesn't well remember about it. The two asked the ones with the native condition. First, MAYU, but she explained that even if she has natively the infection, she didn't infect anyone. However, since Tei did, Tei explained that the two girls had to gather extremely negative feelings in order to create a black fluid that can contaminate the others.
In order to do that, ONE invented a story to IA, telling her that HIPPI (another member of their group) decided to choose to not get an AI to sing and talk with them. And that she really didn't intend to. This mentally broke IA who finally managed to infect ONE.
Result: ONE showing symptoms the day of Christmas.
That's really f**ked up.

Albums advancement

The CD34 "Unresting Chaos" has all its tracks done. It's a 19 tracks album with Xin Hua, Stella, Lily, kokone, Tsuina, Kiritan, IA and Qing Su. Yes, you'll hear Qing Su for the first time in this album! The album has one song for Corruption series (the one with Tsuina) and not 1, not 2, not 3... But 4 songs for the Lovecraft series! The album will be set to release on March 12, 2022 (Sat).
CD34.5 has been started yesterday but will be long to produce especially since Karin and Rikka are in the tracklist. CD34.5 is for now set to 22 tracks so it's going to be a huge one. It will do normally all deadlines from March to May included.

ParcelUp

I was completely refunded for Qing Su's cancellation via ParcelUp quite quickly. Instead, I tried to get the pre-order for Xingchen AI... And it works! They'll send me the product via email once it gets released. Apparently she'll be released on the 20th. Which means I'll get her on Sunday by email. Since Xingchen's deadlines are in July and August, you won't get any public songs with her for a while, but I arranged myself to give her 2 private songs for CD34.5 (one track for Lovecraft series and one for the Corruption series).
That means for the 5 other members of MEDIUM5 I'm waiting for (Minus, Chiyu, Shian, Cangqiong, Haiyi) there are high chances I also ask ParcelUp to get them for me. We're just waiting now...

EDIT Feb 19th 9:34 AM - Xingchen AI arrived the mailbox with her activation code and her installer near 8 AM. She is now activated on the computer.

Plugin buyings

We're near the middle of the month but I got a huge buying for production which is the bundle of Heavyocity Native put online for the first part of February. I especially used Gravity in some recent tracks and one of its independant modules, Natural Forces. Sadly the bundle isn't complete so I only took what was really interesting for me.

Remember in few days you'll get "Anomalous Temple" with Lily, and after... Next album.

Promised after the Twitlonger here is the blog post. I confirm that now, Qing Su is activated on my computer.

How things will happen now?

Qing Su will be used via her AI capabilities of singing any supported language by SynthV, which means she can sing in English and in Japanese. Qing Su here will only be used to sing in Japanese. Her section on the blog will arrive within few days. However, you won't see her publicly singing here before December 1st. She'll have some private songs in the upcoming albums though (except for "Lurking Presences" for which its tracklist is already internally validated and deemed as definitive).

The ParcelUp order is being cancelled, since it requires a human validation by the agents, the cancellation will be done in 4 days. I might however use them for the MEDIUM5 characters since Dreamtonics store has only their official databases (Saki, Ryo, Qing Su, Kevin).

We'll wait to see what will happen next, but I can say I woke up to a big surprise.

Song for the main lore series with Tsuina.
Unlike what happened with many others, it's not the closest person from Tsuina who was responsible of the spread. Oniko went more on a protective approach.
What the song is not telling you is who exactly infected Tsuina. Sure thing, it's not VY1, her voice is not mature. It could have been Lily but it's not. Here it was Saki. The reason why? Saki remembered of how she got betrayed and was afraid Oniko would do the same to Tsuina. It gave her some sort of psychotic attack and she just snapped.

They just arrived few minutes ago, the AI voicebanks for Itako and Zunko!

Sorry I took this with the phone camera and it's pretty bad ><

For reminder, Zunko AI will be used like it's the case for IA : I'll alternate VOCALOID and CeVIO. So near May you should get a song using her CeVIO AI VB and one with her V4 VB. If you want to differentiate the 2 VBs, Zunko AI sings a bit more mature and less softer than V4.

Itako AI will however fully replace Itako UTAU. This means from now on (January 31, 2022) all songs featuring Itako will use her CeVIO AI VB. The UTAU VB usage is now discontinued.

Giving you some other news.

1) Buyings in January

So, the first day of the year it's the Soundiron Omega bundle and evolution series bundle (still on NKS store) which were bought. These are the two most massive buyings. Later got added The Friedlander (a piano by Strezov), Aevium (bank by Soundiron), the 2022 melodies pack from Cymatics (for once the price was reasonable!) and an extension for Geosonics II.

2) Qingsu... Found a way?

And this way is called a buying agent. I actually used one once, which was Tenso, for getting a voicebank for GUMI. This time, I took a Taobao agent for Qingsu (or Qing Su, the two are accepted orthographs??), called ParcelUp (it got recommended on SynthV forums). The buying will be done after February 7th because the agents are currently in Chinese New Year holidays. If this plans works correctly, then maybe I'll do something about the MEDIUM5 female cast... In case they wouldn't give them to Anicute.

Qingsu should arrive (download ver since it's the only one existing) a bit before February 9, 2022 if everything goes smoothly. Let's cross fingers!

As for her deadlines, Qingsu will have December 1 only, but separated from KAFU.

3) Karin, Rikka, ROSA and SEKAI

Karin and Rikka are for April 2022. Buying will be download ver (for money reasons due to my usage (only AI VBs please!!!)) probably on DLSite (because coupons). Chifuyu will be bought when she will be released, unless the crowdfunding gets open for overseas.

As for ROSA I'm waiting for her SynthV voicebank crowdfunding to open and I'll get her from here I hope. Hiroto-P had opened the crowdfunding to overseas, now we're getting to SynthV which greatly expends capacities of singing in supported languages, there are more chances more non-Japanese people will want her. I'm patiently waiting for you...

For SEKAI we are still waiting, but I'm not expecting her to be finished before at least end 2022...

4) February, the month with 6 deadlines...

Tsuina, Stella, Xin Hua, Kiritan, kokone, Lily. February is part of the months having the most important number of independent deadlines. You'll first get a song part of the Corruption series (so main lore), then all "normal" songs, with no connected series.

March will thus become more of a rest...

5) Albums advancement

"Lurking Presences" (CD33.5) : will soon do the booklet and the certificates. You get it for February 19th as intended.

CD34: all public demos are already done as well as half the private tracks. The album is called "Unresting Chaos". You'll get not less than 4 songs for the Lovecraft series. This album includes all the February deadlines. It will not include further however - the March and more deadlines will be for CD34.5. Release date will be probably for end March/beginning April 2022.

In a nutshell:
- Zunko AI alternates with Zunko Natural ; Itako AI replaces UTAU version
- Qingsu to be coming for February 9th, 2022 max if everything goes well (using Taobao agent for non-Chinese people)
- If Qingsu plan goes well, Minus +, Xingchen Infinity, Chiyu +, Shian +, Haiyi + and Cangqiong + to be coming possibly the same way (will also depend of how their sells will be organized)
- Rikka and Karin coming together for April 2022. Chifuyu for when will get released. ROSA intended to be taken with crowdfunding campaign for SynthV once it opens. Awaiting SEKAI's info.
- 6 public demos for February (Tsuina -> Stella -> Xin Hua -> Kiritan AI -> kokone -> Lily)
- CD33.5 almost finished, release on February 19, 2022, will include end December and January deadlines
- CD34 more than half finished, release on end March/beginning April 2022, will include February deadlines

Exactly a year after doing a song for the Dead by Daylight series with Yukari... Here is another one. This time I used her growl setting, it gives her this sort of corrupted voice.
About the killer The Artist. A young Chilean, Carmina Mora, witnessed the death of her brother, was accused by her father to be the responsible then a day... She has a revelation and sees a cloud of crows. She starts drawing them. Whenever they feel she needs help, the crows go to the ground and deadly hurt the enemies... But when she sees the crows attacking her friends as well, she feels again this huge culpability feeling.
Music: if you're used with the series, you know this is a dubstep song. This time, it's quite ethereal and agressive at the same time. Full of a despair cry. Almost as if you could hear the crows. Growls and lead by Serum, bass by Substance, pad by Celestia.

Hello, Nynthixia here and merry Christmas everyone!

I'll do some quick announcements before I go to sleep and get some presents (maybe?) including news about albums and material buyings that were done during December.

One of the presents I'll get for Christmas is a major external hard drive (we're talking about something that does 18To) that will be used for getting all future Kontakt libraries, since the hard drive for it (a HDD of 2To that was inserted in the computer, couldn't take higher because otherwise the HDD is too big for being contained) is almost full, so the rest of space will be reserved to samples only.

This will be for major buyings in January, including an ensemble of Kontakt instruments (a full collection of Evolution Series) and the Omega bundle of Soundiron (I'm discussing with Soundiron for the discount on the bundle and apparently, they also accept any bundle buyings you did on Native Instruments website!).

Zunko and Itako AI: I'll take physicals if it's possible. But I'll wait for them to be sold on Amazon JP, because for now paying on AHS would cost me more than buying them from Amazon JP. Estimating of gaining around €40. If it still doesn't work, the last chance is download version from DLSite (because maybe coupons...?). If they arrive in physical, expect them to be at home near February 1st max. Otherwise, on the release day if ever I don't see them on Amazon JP still.

For the voicebanks of SynthV that aren't Japanese for their first language: I can't take any for now. I have plans for possibly taking Qingsu then the female MEDIUM5 group, but the first one isn't sold overseas (it's a Taobao link and I can't speak Chinese at all so good luck for trying to understand how to create an account etc) and the second ones don't have their AI versions out for now so we'll have to wait a bit. I'm possibly waiting for Dreamtonics to sell Qingsu on ANICUTE (that permits overseas selling, and they promised they'd try to make her available for everyone) and for the MEDIUM5 to get their AI versions, because it's these versions that will permit the girls to sing in Japanese. I did some tests with Saki in English and oh gosh it works just too well! I was pretty amazed by the results!!

For ROSA: I'm waiting for her SynthV crowdfunding to begin.

December buyings:

- Kim, Giant Bass Drum, Wassolou Balafon (Soniccouture). Soniccouture decided to remake a sales period so I took some of their cheapest libraries, especially for world music. The sales are still ongoing, but not for very long.
- Leviathan 4 package (Black Octopus). Also took two of their 1-day bundles (dubstep and Chop Shop ones). Black Octopus gave a discount for if we bought something during their Black Friday, so paid it with a reduction near 25% (20% of direct reduction + 5% of points reduction).
- Hybrid Scoring bundle (Impact Soundworks). This includes Celestia, Juggernaut, ReForged, Resonance, Curio, Meditation, Cosmos and I got in bonus Mega Brass for free. Got deduced Sonic Forest since I already have it. The bundles are still for sale for the end of the year if ever you're interested, they make excellent quality libraries too.
- rest of Output plugins and their presets banks. It's all the ones I had to get still for getting all their instruments with a full-time license.

As for the albums. I'm doing the last song of the CD33.5. This album will be called "Lurking Presences" and will be for February 19, 2022 (Sat.).

The next album you'll get will be for January 1, 2022 (Sat.) (sorry, it will have to share Tianyi's deadline) and is called "Mental War Traumas". This album includes the following demos:
- "Becoming Stronger" (KAFU)
- "Sacrilege" (Oniko)
- "What I Have Been Through" (Sayu)
- "SYKELIA" (Stella)
- "Testing Specimens" (Itako)

The songs "Anneliese", "Pick Your Poison", "Alien Among You All", "Pathogenic Substance" and the recently released "Full Sanity Depletion" are for the album "Lurking Presences".

"Mental War Traumas" will feature as such Oniko, KAFU, Sayu, Stella, Itako but also Saki and Yukari who have private tracks. One of the songs will be part of the Corruption series ("N Type" with Itako) and that will be it. 14 tracks in total.

"Lurking Presences" will have 3 songs for the Lovecraftian mythos series (expect Cthulhu, Azathoth and Yog-Sothoth, big classics), one song for the Azur Lane series (that will have its demo public on January 27th!), one song for the Dead by Daylight series (demo will be released on January 24th, so you know it will be Yukari stuff) and two songs for the Corruption series ("Pathogenic Substance" is one of them, the other one is the ONE/IA duet "Aria", that was one of the 2 pushed back songs). The album has a total of 18 tracks. The demos for January 27th will be its last ones to be released.

At licensing level it will become different from now on. Indeed, the song "Full Sanity Depletion" is the last song you'll get with a licensing ticket on an external website. This is how it will happen for the following songs:

- the public song "Love Contention" will have a pdf ticket in its archive with 19.0 license. All other concerned songs by this system are private tracks for "Lurking Presences", but not all of them. So the album will be compatible with the 2 license versions (but will be licensed under 20.0 by itself).

- public songs starting with the deadlines for January 24th will be licensed under 20.0 and will have pdf tickets in their archives.

- the album "Mental War Traumas" will be licensed under 20.0 but compatible with 19.0 and this for all tracks, since they all have been under this version. The content under 20.0 will be the booklet and the album cover. Documentation will use the new format.

- the album "Lurking Presences" will be licensed under 20.0 and compatible with 19.0, but this compatibility will be possible only for the songs that have been finished before December 1st. If you want to know which of them are concerned, look at the IMIC codes, the middle part will reveal the date the song was finished (in Japanese format, so YYMMDD). Documentation will use the new format.

Remember that on January 1, 2022, the 18.0 version of specific copyleft licenses will become unsupported. I'll update the catalog as such. If ever you do a cover or a remix of something that is under 18.0 version of lower, I'll ask you to use 19.0 until December 31, 2021 then 20.0 on January 1, 2022 until a new version of licenses comes out.
Previous licensing tickets will still be accessible (the website doesn't close). Just expect what I was doing for Meiji's songs that had the August 8th deadline to happen on every song from now on.

In a nutshell:

- Next deadline will be "Love Contention" with Tianyi on January 1, 2022. Release of the album "Mental War Traumas" the same day.
- Zunko AI and Itako AI for between January 27, 2022 and February 1, 2022. Physicals expected. Last chance plan will be download ver from DLSite.
- Intended to take Qingsu and MEDIUM5 female cast, but either waiting for overseas selling access either for AI versions. All of these will be download versions. They will be used for only singing Japanese due to cross-lingual synthesis for AI banks.
- "Lurking Presences" to be released on February 19, 2022. Series comebacks (Azur Lane, Dead by Daylight, Corruption series, Lovecraftian mythos).
- Next big purchases will be done on January, including Evolution series banks and Soundiron Omega bundle. Use of new external structure for Kontakt libraries.
- Still waiting for ROSA's crowdfunding for SynthV AI bank. Will be gotten from there normally.

This is a story that really happened. Anneliese Michel was a young German woman and a very strong God believer. But one day, she started behaving strangely, haunted by several spirits and demons at once. Most of her exorcism sessions were registered on cassettes. You can even search for these audio files by yourself...
There are high chances Anneliese actually really needed mental help as soon as possible, and she sadly never got it. Her parents and the exorcists got judged for murdering her by neglictence. This is just a horrible story, but strangely, this quite fascinated me the first time I heard about it. And I was also on the hypothesis that she needed a psychiatrist as well.
Music: we're very close from what I did with "LUCIFENIUM", which was also a song with very brutal lyrics and content. So near hip hop/trap style. Added some kind of religious type instruments as well, such as church choirs and organs. Organ by All Saints Organ, sub line by Sytrus, dulcimer by Arcane, choirs by Ancient Voices.
Did a lot of cool treatment on CUL's voice to make her sound more mature and creepy. And... It works. Oo

It's a bit inspired from a dream I had. Where I was just... Something else than the group of humans in a garden. And I had a crush on someone, but I had to kill them before I got outted. So of course it's a bit inspired by Among Us, but the original origin it's really this weird dream.
Music: spatial trance is back! Mallets by Mallet Flux, pad by Haunted Spaces, leads by Morpheus, choirs by Voice of Wind libraries (I used all of them except for the Connie one because I didn't have it at the time), riser and fall by theRiser, supersaws by Xpand!2. The whole gives a very lonely feeling, especially from the start.

An abused girl murdering the one she formerly considered her boyfriend and finally snaps. It's not like Sayu's song where the girl finished totally in a desperate state. The one Stella had... Just went insane and laughed at it.
Note: originally the name of the song was "SYBELIA" but when I noticed I already had used "SIBELIA" for MAYU, changed the title a bit. Especially since I was going to have issues with the JP titles.
Music: dark techno, but more ethereal on one side and dubstep-rish on the other side than for "S-Laughter". Bass line by Substance, sequence atmo by Haunted Spaces, chimes by Morpheus, lead chime by Celeste then Mallet Flux, bridge by Serum, strings by Threnody.

Since the huge black Friday reductions are getting over and now all the companies from which I generally buy things did their sales, I can now announce what was added to my material for the month of November. I'll first start with Tsuina.

She arrived at the end of November 25th, bought on DLSite. Since DLSite added the AI release on the Japanese midnight which is currently 4 PM for me, that means I technically bought her on November 25th. I also had a coupon to get her a little cheaper than the usual.

She is now well installed. Tsuina's deadlines will be September 8th and February 3rd. You'll hear her in an album to be released on 2022. So don't expect songs with her until the end of year strict minimum.
