Just in case, I published "Death Seeker" (the song, not the album, not yet) just there. This will be the last song of 2017. Well, this is. Now this is aired.

So, there won't be lots of news, just a little modification that I'll explain on a schedule. No big worries.

First, I wanted to say "happy new year" (even if we're not in 2018 yet, and still I have 8 hours late compared to Japan). I'm quite glad to be here. There was some evolution in the work, going from the V3 engine to the V4, there was no new vocal acquired on 2017, but you know that next year, well, Akari... You know all of this, right?

So few info now.

- "R.a.w." became an OST. Which means there may be some conditions for reprint (ref to Terms of use)

- S04 will begin probably not before February from what I understood. If you remember well, S04 will be open when FL20 will be officially released. For the moment we still have some betas. And I'm not really working on betas. This season may be the one with the less clear transition of all. The S01/S02 was pretty clear, the S02/S03 still quite clear. The S03/S04... I already made a big transition when I acquired FM8, V-Station and Hybrid, where the style changed a bit.

- The cover of February is cancelled.
Actually it will be moved to January 21st [Sun.] (the day after the airing of the album "Dying Rule"), and it may not be a cover but a remix. I won't tell more about this remix, but it will be MQube exclusive. And I really, really have to do my best for this one.

- A new sheet is available. This will give you the automatic deadlines for some songs using main and regular vocals. I also included Akari in the list.
If there is a mistake in the dates please tell me so I can correct!

- And I think that's it. A little tab for next week schedule is available here. (bottom of the post)
Which means on tomorrow you get the yandere duet song!
Midnight airing for this song will not be possible. Expect more an afternoon/evening airing.

There are few changes for the air dates of an album and a cover, the ones for January. And the cause is the pace for the weeks of December 25th/December 31st and January 1st/January 7th.

There is enough place to fit a whole album in it. Next week I'll try to air 3 songs ("Abandoned" with Stella and 2 others, maybe a song with IA and another one with CUL). Then the week after, you'll have the another song with IA and the Yukari/CUL duet. At the end of the post anyways, you'll get a schedule of all originals and covers that will be aired for the next periods.

So, why in title of this blog post I didn't talk at all about an album announcement? Because all the demos for this album will be produced during the fast period! Except for December 25th, it still will be a track from the album "Dying Rule" : "Shining Shrine".

It's been almost a month since there was no message in the news. But I have lots of news to share now. The album airing, the reveals for the covers of December and January, the tracklist of the album that will be aired on January, and some new little "DAW food".

I assume this expression.

Here is the changelog of "Babylon". But before, I wanted to thank you a lot for "Bird in Cage". The song was composed for Zunko's birthday and it became one of the most popular songs. Views counter on piapro exploded, and all the little nice comments...

That's what I meant by "DAW food"...

Ah and FM8 is featured a lot in "Psycho Liar" ^^
Actually all the synths in this song are FM8 except for a lead made with GMS, that's all I'm going to say!

And next, the covers. I have to delay a little bit the "CARLA" one, but these are the names of the two sele's songs I'll cover the 2 next months:

Both will be on MQube only, so be sure to check it out sometime!
(Both of the covers use non official instrus but their quality is really really good no worries)

And of course if sele airs a song with its instru, this song becomes prioritary on the list, delaying some others to the months after.

The season 3 of songs will stop when I'll get FL Studio 20 (there's no FL13 just in case you're wondering!).
Just because the third season is getting a bit too long (since June 2016).
WARNING: Songs using Fruity Delay 3 and/or Transistor Bass and that will be produced within FL Studio 20 will only be eligible to compatibility patches with FL 12.5.1, but not with former versions of FL, and will be marked as "Restricted compatibility patch".

As for the work paces, the fastest pace will be applied for the weeks December 25th/December 31st and January 1st/January 7th. But I can't give any schedule for them right now (except for the 25th) since it will depend of how fast I'll advance on the January tracklist.
There may be a third week of fast pace at the end of January, but I'll wait some confirmations on my side.

As an ending word, congrats to Zunko's team for Itako's Voiceroid, they reached the goal within a couple of minutes.
She's really good as an UTAU, and I'm sure the users of Voiceroid will enjoy her a lot.

Before beginning with the schedule, I wanted to say a huge, very huge thanks to everyone. The last song with Zunko, "Bird in Cage", has also been introduced by official piapro's Twitter account. It was hard to believe, but this makes me so happy and it really gives me a huge amount of motivation. Thanks everyone!!!

I have so many things to tell you, if you knew...

First, the work pace and schedule for next week. This is what I said in the previous news (when I aired "Maidens of the Horrors" (CD16)):

1) I may do the fastest pace but I'd have to advance many works for Monday and Tuesday
2) I do the fastest pace, but the song that was scheduled for Tuesday would be aired or on the Monday or on the Wednesday depending of how it goes
3) I do the medium pace, and actually it would be a "6 songs a week" pace, with the Tuesday without anything

The reason why I had to write down these choices was because I'd normally have some school classes on the Tuesday evening. I learnt on Wednesday that these classes were cancelled. This means, next week I'm on holidays (for school of course, not for production, you know me way well now).

So the pace for next week will be a song everyday. No day shifts.

And since I was at the very end of doing the demos for the album "Babylon"... I had to do a new tracklist. The CD17 will be called "Break-Out", and will be aired as an album on December 23rd!

On this weekend, I'll produce "Lyra" with Kiritan. It should be aired on Sunday. This leaves the song "Christine" with Ritsu, which will be made on October 30th.

In terms of volumes, this song was the most problematic one. Made it less repetitive at some parts as well.

Sooooo what happened with this build of VEGAS Pro actually? The pan controls had been changed for the first build of the v15, so this was the explanation for the -3dB volume when I used the manipulations that I had to do in previous versions (and that I can use now in the current build of VEGAS Pro!). That was not that bad for Meiji though, who had a very strong voice.

Next songs to be aired will be "BELICIA" then "On Both Edges", on this weekend. Between the computer maintenance and the fatigue, I had some difficulties to work on musics and lyrics. So no worries, this will come soon. Zunko's song is on next Thursday for reminder.

Next cover will normally be on November 18th. Yeah, a week before the album airing, again. The next one on the list is "Segments Blue" with IA. (MQube only)

I think after the song "Blindness" I had to give some explanations.

3 days ago I bought Groove Machine. This is maybe the trickiest plugin that I have ever seen. I'll maybe take a while before mastering it perfectly. "Blindness" was a sort of test for it.

I also changed my computer on Wednesday. No worries nothing is lost, let's just say the first one had a little physical problem and it was best to change it before it was too late. To avoid the holes in the production pace, I had prepared "Sparks" and "Blindness" way in advance, aired the first one at the scheduled date, and the second one as fast as I could, when the computer was all ready.

Next airing? A cover of "DIETRICH" with Lily on MQube in few hours! And this one was prepared several weeks in advance! (^_^) Next cover... Well the plans B I had in August, so typically:
- or "Segments Blue" with IA (original instru)
- or "CARLA" with Lily (original instru)

Next originals? The one with Zunko will be on October 27th. As for the others, "as soon as they will be produced".

A quite heavenly song with some light ambience. Has some evolution parts.

02. Never Ending (feat. CUL)

I agree, the bridge in the demo was weird!

04. Penelope (feat. Lily)

This is an unreleased song!

This one is the longest of all the album, more focused on a heartbreaking and dramatic ambience, making a good contrast with the previous track "Night Garden".

05. Simple Fantasy (feat. Tohoku Zunko)

This track has still its little oddity thing, but I still like it.

06. Never Forget You (feat. Tohoku Zunko)

"Hidden" was complicated to create since its demo status. So well that I tried to look at everything I could do to make it good. There was just this missing.

The demo was quite too short so I extended it a bit and enhanced the dynamics.

09. Truth Left (feat. Tohoku Zunko)

What was missing to the original! When I was listening to this song sometimes, I felt that some harmonies were missing, and I added them at some strategic parts. I let you enjoy it!

12. Hex Spell (feat. Lily)

[CAPELLA] Added global harmonies
[INSTRUMENT] Changed octave of last part of supersaw bridge
[INSTRUMENT] Added roll before last chorus

"Hex Spell" was made a bit before many other songs of this album and didn't have any harmonies. For all the tracks, these capellas were the hardest to do! Also gave a bit more dynamics at the end of the first bridge, this really needed it.

13. Megara (feat. Yuzuki Yukari)

This is an unreleased song!

Punchy pop-like, and with a story that has nothing to do with the girl from the Disney movie. This is actually a sort of "parallel song" to "NANZIA" that was in the "Necrosis" album (CD15). If I had to choose some favorites in this album, would be tracks 8, 9 and 13!

14. HELENIA (feat. Yuzuki Yukari)

I acquired some new material recently, I told about some of them on Twitter already, but apparently, never did that here so here we go.

The first one is the upgrade to VEGAS Pro 15.0. Since the song "Down to Hell", all the works are done into this version, also they seem to have changed the compressor system making the volume of some songs quite low. May be good to expect some modifications for the album versions I guess.

(Typically the saturation level has been lowered by ~3dB from what I noticed, so if I used the same manipulations as in the 14.0, I would have a music with 3dB less than a song that has been rendered with the 14.0.)

The upgrade has been done last week, on August 31st.

The other new instrument is a little KORG M1 (it should remind you something, maybe?) not too expensive for me (42€), that has been unlocked on Wednesday, so, more recently than the VEGAS update. The next song, which is with Lily, uses it as main synth (with Toxic Biohazard, my little favorite <3). This VST sounds very promising since it can do a lot of things... A bit like Xpand!2 I guess.

I don't plan to buy any new VOCALOID soon, I'm more waiting for the V4 updates of the ones that don't have it yet (especially for Lily). So for the moment, it's more "VST buying and VOCALOID upgrading" as soon as possible.

Concerning Tmbox, the website is dead since several days ago, so now everything is on MQube except for the demo of "MARJOLINA" that had to be patched. Full list of concerned works on this Google Doc!

Work paces: the week between October 30th and November 5th may be a week with the fastest pace, however, I can't really confirm that yet. As for now, I'm in the slow pace again. No worries, I'm still working.

Two dates to write on your agendas: September 16th on MQube, I'll air a cover of "CHERRY BLOSSOM" with kokone (original: sele) and on September 19th I'll air the song "Lolita" with MAYU (it's for her voice provider's birthday). And of course the album "Truth Garden" on September 23rd (please listen to the crossfade here)!

One of the songs that had the most significant changes. The problem of "Isabela" was the quality, that was quite low because the beats were too simple (inter alia). So I modified them and it should sound more sophisticated!

Also one of the tracks that has been deeply modified. The GMS instrument is now playing almost all the long of the song. Enjoy this new version!

Hope you enjoy this album, the half of the songs are independant stories, the other half is inspired from the two last CHARON games. And something tells me this is not over yet...

BECAUSE... "Truth Garden"!!!!

There are 3 tracks that you won't recognize at all, the inedite ones, but all the other ones should remind you something. I thought about finishing all the demos with Lily's birthday song to set the crossfade in the same news post as the "Necrosis" album airing.
Note: none of all the inedite songs are for all audiences. Told you, "3 piapro and 2 MQube posts cancelled", so yeah, it was "3 posts", one for each instru, that should have told you something like "maybe yandere or some cruel tragedy". And the MQube posts meant that it could be for the 2 concerned songs or "yandere song with good quality" or "not yandere song with good or excellent quality". So there is one with normal quality.

Like I said few days earlier, I only did this crossfade because here, there are some songs that you won't be able to listen to out of an album. There will be no player on the blog, no upload on piapro, MQube or Soundcloud, nothing. A full changelog for this album will be given on September 23rd, along with its download link.

If ever you want the audio of the crossfade, please contact me (the best would be by mail ("Contact") or by Twitter, where you'll get the quickiest answers). No need to rip out the audio from YT when the website changes some settings of the audio and when the author gently tells you "you can ask me what audio you want"! (But please do not reupload it)

As for the covers of the inedite original songs... I'll ask you to contact me first whatever the upload platform will be. First to get the material then to tell me where it will be. Of course, the license is the same as usual so no mistake!

Like I said on Twitter, the album exclusive tracks of "Truth Garden" will be the songs "Alina", "Penelope" and "Megara". So this actually cancelled... 2 MQube and 3 piapro posts. This gives you a little idea.

That said, I have these tracks to do:

- "Never Ending", "Never Forget You", "Hidden", "CLIONE", "Complaints" : these songs will be aired or this week or next week or the week after it. This means I'll have to do a tracklist soon, and I already wrote some ideas down.
- "Night Garden" : this song will be aired on August 25th. This is the Lily's birthday one.

For covers... "Scarlet Rose" with IA for August 21st, for reminder. The September one though... I have 2 possible projects but for the first one I need another authorization so... Can't really say which one it will be. As soon as I'll get an answer, I'll be able to tell you which project will be in place. Covers will be posted on MQube.

And of course, the album "Necrosis" on August 26th! The "Truth Garden" one will be on September 23rd, and it may be possible that I post a crossfade for this one soon when all the demos and album versions will be finished. The crossfade will be only on YouTube, and if ever you want to listen to the crossfade over and over in mp3, please use the "contact" link on the blog because I won't post it publicly.

Why a crossfade only for "Truth Garden"? For all other albums, it was quite... Useless. The only album exclusive tracks were or different edits of a song which already had a demo (the Memories Edit of "CHARA", the Despair Edit for "Master Mind" and the rework of "ARSENIUM"), or remastered and patched versions of songs that have been already aired (case of "Aenea" (which still has a mistake in the lyrics, I know) and "OCTARINA" (it was a patch on the lyrics)).
Now that there will be 3 tracks for which the "public demo state" doesn't exist, well... Decided to be a bit sadistic and to air a crossfade almost a month before its air date!
No, I'm not THAT evil. *laughs*

Now. How will it be organized?

This is actually the schedule of the songs airing for the upcoming weeks. For the current one, I'm already done. I'll just work a bit more on "Hester" and "Damaris", but like I said, I have to better understand the source stories. That may require... Several hours of work maybe? (It's mainly a work of transcribing then having a rough translation, that is enough to me to globally understand)

Week of July 24th-30th: the songs "Hester" and "Damaris" + at least 1 song of "Truth Garden" tracklist (work pace: 3/6 songs/week)

Week of July 31st-August 4th: "Mandragora" will be aired on August 4th, 2 other songs from the "Truth Garden" tracklist will be aired a few before. (work pace: 3/6 songs a week)

From August 5th to August 12th INCLUDED: OFFLINE. This doesn't mean I won't work! I'll actually have 3 sets of lyrics already "ready to use". My mission for the offline week will be to compose the musics, write the .vsqx file and mixdown. The work pace is considered as "2 or 3 songs a week", but this one will be invisible. I'll come back on this later.

From August 13th to August 20th: Work pace of "2 or 3 songs a week" too. I'll be back online though.

Weeks after these dates: back to "from 3 to 6 songs/week" until September 4th, which will normally be the last dates for airing the demos of "Truth Garden".
On August 25th, a song with Lily (don't know which one) will be aired (scheduled).

OK, now back to the songs which will be produced during the offline period. Last year I had to cancel several platform uploads of the "offline songs" (the Tmbox uploads) due to Internet and internal gestion problems. Also I decided that...

These offline songs will be album exclusive.

This means every piapro/MQube/Soundcloud potential upload for these 3 songs will be cancelled.

After, I know what you will think: "And the English/French lyrics? And the explanations/production notes? And the instru???".

Calm down (^_^)" These songs will have blog posts being aired on the same day as their album along with the following info:
- a fichier-zip link that will bring you to a global .zip file containing the instrus and the lyrics of each song (not the sung version itself -> album)
- the identification codes
- the lyrics in English, Japanese and French, as usual
- the explanations and production notes
- a link bringing back to the album download page

But these posts won't have any link for a licensing ticket (I'll use the certificate of the album as reference instead) and no song preview ( = no player) unlike the other posts, to really keep the song as being "album exclusive".

Now, which songs will be concerned? No idea still, it will be the surprise... Until August 13th where you will see on the discography page 3 titles on the concerned tracklist written in turquoise blue ( = album exclusive).
The concerned titles will also be revealed on Twitter on August 13th.

I won't do this often. This is exceptional and if the concept works, I may set it up again for next year. This is just a test.

Also, remember: August 21st there will be a cover of "Scarlet Rose" with IA and on August 26th, album airing of "Necrosis" (and I confirm, there is NO "suitable for all audiences" song in this album).

I'll maybe take some more time on "Hester" and "Damaris" because the stories on what they are based on... Are quite... I don't know how to explain, it's weird. As for the song with Meiji, "Mandragora", I began a first rough demo, that I'll modify at the beginning of August (near 2nd/3rd) then I'll air it for everyone. I wanted to experiment something, so see you 3 weeks later for the result?

Cover of August -> I'll try to do "Scarlet Rose" with IA. This will be the challenge. The air date will be quite late though, on August 21st. MQube only for reminder. And of course update on the blog.

There is no precize air date apart from "Mandragora", the songs will be aired as soon they will be finished. Just warning, by seeing what I'm doing, there are some chances that no track from the album "Necrosis" will be for all audiences. Plus there are some tracks where I have to censor several things...
The ones who saw the story that will inspire "Damaris" know what I'm talking about, riiiight?

Reminder: the reason I don't air the Meiji's birthday song on August 8th is because I'll be offline on this date, and the 4th is the closest date where I'll still be online.

For the songs "Re;Verse" and "Infamous Betrayal", I'll explain why I already say they will be for July:

"Re;Verse", like I said in a previous post, will be a modified derivative from a CHARON game ("Full Bokko Youchien") that already has a first translation in English, making it easier to understand to me. Compared to the tracks that will be derivated from the other recent CHARON game, I have more advance in the story and will do the song prioritary to the other ones.

"Infamous Betrayal" will be aired in July because of a physical limitation. For VCV voicebanks such as Itako or Nyui, I have to use a computer that can't be moved (it's not like my working laptop that I can bring with me everywhere, like this I can work wherever I want and whenever I want!) and that is at home. During the offline week and the week after this one (Aug 5th -> Aug 19th), I won't be able to work on songs featuring VCV voicebanks. Since in July I stay at home, I can easily work on songs for Nyui or Itako. Hence the decision.

As for the July album, this is a recap of what has to be done:

This week: "Deadly Candle"* (<- instru is done) then "Murdering Passions"* (definitive order, I can't give any dates though)
Next week (not on July 6th, 8th or 9th): "Encounter", "Red Raspberry", "ROSAPINA"* (order can change)
* possibly not for all audiences.

That will make the song with Totoko... The first one of the CD15 to be aired as a demo?

Also remember that on July 6th the cover of "Ref-Rain" with Yukari -Lin- will be aired on MQube!

Tmbox decided to move their closure date from April 1st 2018 to... December 31st 2017. Image proof:

So this is the new upload chart that I updated, so just a recap:

- no more Tmbox uploads since the upload UI has disappeared on June 6th, people who were on Twitter knew about it when I said "OK change of plans guys! Let's meet on MQube!" (in Japanese of course because most of the people following me on Twitter are from Japan)
- when Soundcloud account will be full, uploads will be done on MQube instead

See? I even made a bilingual version this time! (Of course the originals that are on SC or MQube are also on the blog, it's just a short to say "and blog and Soundcloud" or "and blog and MQube"). Covers and remixes are now just linked to the blog. I'll update the Tmbox links and replace them with the MQube ones when the reuploads will be done.

When will be done the reuploads?

Between November and December 2017. There are 92 works to reupload!! That's a bunch of files! If I do almost 2 every day, I'd finish this 1.5 month after I would have begun. Not that bad.
Please note that the reuploads will be tagged as "[再アップロード]" (= reupload) at the end of the title and that I won't tweet them. Just to not flood the profile with only reuploads, works that may have a bit weaker quality than the current works (well, the quality was already quite high when I began doing this)... New works will be tweeted though.

"Why did you not change everything into -Jun-?" The answer is that the -Lin- voicebank fixes a big issue that the natural Yukari has: the 1/16 and 1/32 phonemes (especially 1/32) that are not performed very well. There should be less cuts. Other patch to resolve a problem of final phoneme that repeated the consonnant.

Inedite track

New inedite song, the -Despair Edit- of "Master Mind", with Lily as main vocal and Ritsu as backing vocal. Unlike the -Rebirth Edit- that sounds very light, the -Despair Edit- has a more hardcore/hard techno based style. A very good music genre for Lily especially. And promised: this edit has a reduced length (a bit less than 5 minutes) but also a higher BPM (150 versus 130).
Track considered as OST.

There are other things, mainly for August:

- There will be no song for Meiji's birthday, at least on August 8th. The song will be aired on August 4th instead, it is on a Friday, and this is the date that is the closest to August 8th, day included in an offline production week (August 5th to 12th).
- There will be a song for Totoko on July 10th. Title still undecided.
- A song derivated from the CHARON game "Full Bokko Youchien" may be aired soon. It will be with MAYU and will be called "Re;Verse". The game has an English translation so less errors of understanding for me. I may use the "BAD END" as template.
- 5 songs derivated from the CHARON game "Menherafflesia" (sorry if this looks weird, CHARON made a pun between the word "menhera" and the word "rafflesia" from what I understood) will be aired in late July/beginning August. There is the little list of these songs, none of them has a proper schedule though. Unlike the "Full Bokko Youchien" one, I don't have any English translation and used what I understood from the text I knew and the images of the game. There may be some errors!

Hello, Nynthixia there, with two excellent news!

1) THE VOICEBANKS

Just arrived few minutes ago!

They arrived very early as expected! (laughs) The V4 of Zunko and Yukari will be used from now. This includes:

- covers of June 9th and July 6th!
- album versions of any Yukari or Zunko songs (I won't tell you if there will be any other changes, not funny else)
- the new songs that will be made with Yukari or Zunko

2) MATERIAL

I posted a screenshot on Twitter of the "lost" folder of flp files, so everything is now saved (2 independent copies on 2 different external hard drives). That means you can know request me ANY MATERIAL. Yeah, no damages. Everything is in good shape!

Sure everyone is happy now! Incident over, time to go to V4 files...
We are still waiting for the V4 Lily and the V4 IA that is currently WIP (the IA VB, not the Lily one as far as I know).

For the July album info, check again this post. The edit is written at the end.

This is quite recent, but this little message is displayed at the top of Tmbox page.

In other words, on April 1st 2018, Tmbox will be no more. For Soundcloud, you know that I already have an account but... I don't have that much space on it anymore (~50min to give you an idea) so I took MQube instead. It works in a very very similar way to Tmbox actually.

For the people who were wondering about "how do I upload the songs on other platforms", this should help you (sorry, only in Japanese, I'll make a recap in English after):

- For each Tmbox upload, a MQube upload will be done in parallele, and this until April 1st 2018.
- Covers and remixes of songs that aren't mine are on Tmbox by default. They will be also on MQube.
- Good quality songs and non-yandere excellent quality songs will be also on Tmbox and MQube.
- Excellent quality songs that have a yandere content will be uploaded to Soundcloud until the upload becomes impossible, after, same treatment as the other good quality songs: Tmbox and MQube.
- For normal quality songs, no additional platform upload, it's still blog only.

(Note: the quality number ratings are actually internal (and are meant to be internal!), that's why you never see them anywhere. And no, I never reached a quality of 1.)

And for other songs?

There will be uploads on MQube, reuploads, of all the concerned works on March 2018. They will have a tag [再アップロード] at the end of the title. This includes all the originals, covers and remixes that would have been posted.
The blog will also be updated.

And the covers you will do until April 2018?

Tmbox and MQube double upload from now on. Both will be posted in a single separated tweet. This will begin with the "Re;BIRTH" or "Ref-Rain" cover... Well, the one that will be aired on next Friday.

So no worries, Tmbox isn't dead yet, but it's time to prepare a big move of all the files, that I can't do for now because many files are still missing for me.

Already end of May. I'll do a little recap of what is currently happening.

As the title says, I asked for an upgrade. This will be for both Yukari and Zunko. This means that maybe two weeks later, I'll work with all the V4 voicebanks of Yukari (yeah, I asked for the three versions) and the V4 voicebank of Zunko. For the moment, the V3 will still be used.

If the voicebanks arrive before the day I'll work on the album versions for "Rebirth from Paradise", there may be some chances that I'll change the capella of Yukari's songs to set the V4 one. This will be reported in the album changelog (that is displayed on each blog post for album airing + the internal zip file description if you have access to it).

As for Zunko, the capella of her song "Encounter", may be the V4 one.

Official dates for getting the voicebanks are between June 10th and June 23rd.

Other news now.

1) The incident of the hard drive
One week ago, 95% of the files have been retrieved. I thought I told about it here, but it is only on Twitter (where I am almost everyday if you noticed it). During June I may be able to give some material again. There will be a Google doc available for all the files that will be in good status, with their names and in their respective folders. Just warning that it will be very long... I intend to work on this during all the summer holidays, including the week when I'll be offline.

2) The covers
I decided between "Ref-Rain" and "Re;BIRTH", but still won't say which one will be aired first. However, the first one will be on June 9th and the second one on July 6th. So if "Re;BIRTH" is aired first, "Ref-Rain" will be uploaded a month later, and vice versa. I haven't posted the screenshots for this reason like I sometimes do on Twitter, but I assure you that for the moment, both of the repro builds have been done.
Then, question, V3 or V4?
The second cover will be done with V4 Yukari, the first one may be with V3 still though.

3) The blog design
On Monday I closed the blog for about 1h to change the general design, and there are two significant changes.
- The first one is the homepage, which will be less heavier with smaller images and now linking to the news, discography and lite song list pages.
- The second one is the organization for covers and remixes. Since all these works are now being aired on Tmbox only, I created blog posts in the corresponding categories with links to the Tmbox uploads and a bit more details (identification numbers, original artists, licenses (covers only), vocals used for the work...).

4) Albums progresses
OK that's the big part.
The track "Sleeping Paradise" will be aired on this week. The last one for June's album will be "Count and Draw" with Sayu. This will end the demo progress for "Rebirth from Paradise".
July album first tracks will be produced on next week, at least two of them will be aired. Which ones, I don't know yet. The album is still confirmed for July 15th.
The August album... I only have a date, that is very late, and because I don't have the choice. I air the albums on Saturdays, this is a strategic airing since I know I can be here without any problem on midnight the Saturdays to air the albums correctly. Three of the four Saturdays of August are dead for me. The only one remaining is the August 26th. Two of the dates are dead because offline at the midnight time, and the third one is... Too tight. Not very good conditions. On August 26th there will be no problem.
The tracklist isn't ready yet, but I expect at least one song with Totoko, one with Meiji and three with Stella. And maybe one VOCALOID group of 6 vocals (which ones?) song. That's it. Can't say the track names, I'll work on them probably during June, and in any case, there will be a blog post to announce it, no worries.

No public airing of this short version is scheduled.

Other reminder, June 9th, a cover, still haven't decided which one I'll select... But hey, since this is for sele's birthday, I think I should keep the surprise. So you'll know if "Ref-Rain" or "Re;BIRTH" was covered... On June 9th (probably at midnight (Paris time) / 7 AM (Japan time)).

Happy birthday to MAYU (yeah, third time I'm saying that on the blog)! I have some news about the lost data due to the incident and I have not one, but two tracklists done!

85% of the data is recovered (as on yesterday). If this moves at this pace, since there are still 15% data that are only stuck on the damaged hard drive and that you need 2 weeks to get 5%... Yeah, not before mid or end June. Sorry for saying it will come later and later, but this is not something on which I really have the control. However the good news is that nothing in the production anymore is altered. The last altered thing was the album "Night Angels".

Else, the two tracklists. I said on Twitter it was a nightmare to do because I have to consider the many birthdays of many VOCALOIDs and UTAUloids (Tei, GUMI, Itako) or even some voice providers birthdays (Sayu's).

So some songs had to be scheduled. And thanks to the calculations, I noticed that I had to write two tracklists in advance instead of just one. So these are the 2 next tracklists. I don't give the album title of the first one because I don't know if I'll modify it. Their air dates will be on June 17th and July 15th.
Like this I won't be bothered with the big fatigue of the Japan Expo on July...

Changelog of the album. "Eve" was finally not changed, as for "Laura" and "Night Angels" (the songs), they are stuck as demo versions identical to album versions due to a technical incident. I haven't received any other news except for the ones I gave a week ago.

Here is the changelog for some other songs, many many were modified.

Stitches (tracks 01 and 16)

- The end was extended and does not end exactly the same (both versions)

Re;Boot (tracks 03 and 17)

- The intro has changed a few (pad -> gated pad -> chords) (was pad -> chords -> gated pad in the demo) (both)
- There is now a roll+SFX twice at the beginning and one at the middle of second verse (both)
- A gated choir was added in the bridge (both)
- A VFX has been added before the first bridge and at the end (both)

"Collapse" lacked some dynamics at the beginning and under specific conditions, the gated pad wasn't heard very well while it was an important part of the dynamics.

- The sweeps at the beginning of the last chorus were removed
- There is a SFX at the beginning of each chorus
- Kicks were added at the beginning and during the second verse (+ extra beats for second verse)

Note: there is maybe a need to use an equalizer while playing.

Except for "LACRIMIA" that will come a bit later this afternoon, "Bitterness" on tomorrow (a few after the album "Night Angels", and I'm sure you'll love it) and "Away from Me" on Sunday, some other air dates that I forgot in the last news.

Beginning with original songs. MAYU's birthday is on May 6th, the Saturday of next week. And there are 2 songs scheduled, maybe sister songs, it is not impossible that I air both songs ("Elvira" and "Ines") on May 6th, and instead, nothing before, like this, I don't have too much work because of the exams.
(Because, yup, I'm still in this student's time)

On May 10th, the second song with Meiji, "Your Fault", should be aired. This in order to coincide with Saccu's birthday (Meiji's voice actor). I had few problems of organization for Nyui's one, very sorry, I first scheduled it then things didn't happen as expected... ><

The song "Do Not Leave" (with GUMI) will be aired in the same week of the May 10th (another day than the 10th of course, and not on May 13th either, I'll explain that later in the post).

This means that I'll have to make a new tracklist soon, that I haven't done yet (it should not last like this though) and the sure thing will be that Momo will be part of this tracklist and she'll have a song aired on May 22nd. Two days after the "Running and Ailing" album air date.

The next cover will be on May 13th. and when I posted the last news, I still didn't know what I would cover and with who. So it will be a cover of "Kill me, Queen" with Lily. Sorry for the lack of news recently, the last one was still the reveal for the April Fools and since I haven't posted anything but songs. I also had to cancel the piapro upload for "Orchid Orchestra" since the website showed as being a bit drunk the evening I posted?

News about the incident, that also impacts "Night Angels" album. On Wednesday, 80% of my total files were being copied and it is now in a less complicated folder architecture (Users files, there are just some huge files, but we are seeing the end of the "retrieve copy" that began almost 2 months ago!). All of the production files including the .veg files (that are very very separated from all the other production material, because they are in my "Documents" folder) were copied. In what status exactly, I don't know, but I already prepared a huge tab for retrieving the files and knowing what ones are available. I don't estimate the come back of the files before or next week or beginning/mid May. That means "Laura" and "Night Angels" will be stuck as "demo = album versions". As for the song "Eve", I hesitate to make a modification (not extension type though), but else, same status. All other songs can possibly be modified like usual. I already have some ideas about the songs I'm going to correct. This will be done in the week-end. And promised, I save on the "copy hard drive" in same time!

Next week, I have a big schedule. Song everyday except for the Thursday. So here is the list of the songs that will be published for next week.

MONDAY 24TH

Actually this is a (very late) answer to the song "SELENIA". Remember what I told you about the origins of "SELENIA"? The game "Dear Mariko"? Well, few months ago, the author of the game published an alternative ending (that is pretty messed up by the way, I won't spoil). So let's try doing this into a song?

Maybe a yangire song, long time I haven't made one of those... Recently made some yandere songs but...

For this song this is quite complicated because I had an idea of story but I had to abandon it because... This was not my style. So I'll take a few more time to think about it. There are some chances to get a high age warning for this one (maybe not as far as "Anti-Birth", at least I hope?).

Bitterness (feat. Yuzuki Yukari)

No idea about this one either.

SUNDAY 30TH

Maybe just a tragedy, but, who knows?

So let's try doing this. After that, it will be a week of slow pace (because I have my exams) and after... Medium pace. Yeah, finally decided! Many chances that you get almost 3 or 4 songs a week, because I seriously need to rest. I'll make an effort for the next week, but working against our own health is no good either. Actually that more hurts. But since I really love working on songs... I just have to make the right balance between production and resting for the 3 next months.
If you feel very tired, you have some sleep problems and you have a "not-job" schedule... Don't do like me. Rest. For your sake.

This is a sort of answer post to the previous news. Now let's be honest on "what is a joke" and "what is real", with all the details that I have removed.

1) THE PACE OF APRIL 24TH'S WEEK

This news is accurate.

I learnt it only on Tuesday, that I'll not be in front of the computer for enough time on the Thursday for that week, and I'll not be sure to air a song on that day. So you'll have a song for April 24th, 25th, 26th, 28th, 29th (with the album!) and 30th.

2) THE TRACKLIST FOR MAY

This news is accurate.

The name of the album will be "Running and Ailing" and the air date will be on May 20th. And indeed it will be the first album with a higher age limit because of "Anti-Birth". I don't think there will be other songs that have a such rating... Already enough...

4) THE DATA RECOVERY

This news is accurate (and I think it was the most credible of all).

The problem is that only 60% of my total data is recovered and this is so much the mess that it is taking a lot of time. And I'm still stuck for the other production files that are still being saved! So not before April 17th AT LEAST (that means I can recover my data way later... But surely)?

3) THE COVER OF "ELSA-MARIA"

...

Of course the one for "REJECT" is real. But the one for "Elsa-Maria"... Hum... How to say? I'm not at ease with this kind of stories, sorry. I have my limits... (^_^)"

(Seriously if I write I'll cover "ELLIE" or "Elsa-Maria", this is a fake. ESPECIALLY if it's on April 1st!)

There will be a cover on May 13th though, but not that song. I haven't decided the song yet, nor the singer but... I have all my time to think about it.

5) BONUS TRACKS

This one is not included in the former post, so it's a real news. There will be the versions of "Stitches" by MAYU and "Rachel" by IA in the April album. They won't be hidden and will be marked as "bonuses". And, maybe if I have an idea, other bonus tracks (alternative versions)?

I told you before...

I'll do a news post with several points. All of these points will be 100% accurate, but one another will be total fake. And when it will be aired, you can try and guess (on Twitter, maybe easier) what point is the fake one.

So let's go, there is a bunch of news, all of them are true... And one of them is a big big joke. If you know me well, it should be easy.

1) Concerning the week of April 24th, I have to reduce the pace... To the medium one and I'll actually do 6 songs for that week. Everyday but Thursday, where I'll be quite busy.

4) For April album and the data recovery... It's not done until mid April at least. So if I don't get back the files before April 22nd, the following tracks:

will be automatically in "demo = album version". For "Eve", there is still a chance to do an album version, I'll just have to do again the vsqx, but since the flp was saved... It shouldn't be that hard.

I can't believe time is flying so fast. 333 songs aired during 2 full years... (This is not a joke, there are really 333 originals that were composed between March 26th 2015 and today)

Of course I want to continue, of course I won't stop working. So... Thanks everyone. Whoever you are, Vocaloid producer, UTAU producer, users of these softwares, or the nice people on Twitter... Thanks!!!

Other new for the files recovery. I don't have the hard drive yet. I don't know exactly where the software in charge of that is at, even if I think it's still near the production files, and I don't have an exact date of when I'll get it again.
But, I could get some other files which had some copies on other websites. These are only vsqx or ust files, and these are the files that have been recovered:

"Dead Fates": ust and vsqx
"Artemisia": vsqx
"JIVANIA": ust and vsqx

Other files that are still available but were recovered before:

"Regan": two parts of the ust files (not complete)

If I have some news on tomorrow evening, I'll tell you. Speaking of which, there are now 7 hours of difference between Japan and France, so when it's midnight at my home, it's 7 AM for Japanese people. Be careful! (Until mid-October)

OK some more serious news now. Two days ago I got news about the files on the drive that got an incident at the end of February. The files will be recovered during next week, but apparently, I'll have corruption to repair, and since the production files are in the folders where the bug occured... I think it will be a mess and I'll have to repair everything. Files themselves are not affected, I'll maybe have to find what is what. It may take some time though...

And hopefully, you were not penalized for the album, because if I knew earlier when I would get the files back... The air date would be moved to the Saturday of next week.

I'll aware you when all the production files will be recovered, so that if you request them to me, I can give them.

Else, still working, the next song should be for Saturday evening normally.

The album airing of "Fragile Thorn" will indeed be on this Saturday (March 18th), it is now fully packaged. Concerning the data recovery, it just began on today, but it will take up to one or two weeks. Don't estimate the possibility for me of getting back everything then to make the copies on the new hard drives before maybe April 1st (maximum date, after this, you can ask me any material you want!). I'll tell you anyway when the incident will be 100% over.

Other news about the April pace. There will be a week under the tightest pace (one song a day) for the week between April 24th and April 30th included, before going back to a week with the slow pace (2/3 songs a week). After, it will be or 2/3 songs a week until mid-July, or between 3 and 6 songs a week until beginning September (excluding the weeks of August 5th/August 11th (no song airing, working offline) and August 12th/August 19th (2/3 songs a week)).

APRIL

April 3rd/9th ; 10th/16th ; 17th/23rd : slow pace - 2 or 3 songs a week
April 24th/30th : tight pace - one song everyday

MAY

May 1st/7th : slow pace - 2 or 3 songs a week
The rest of the month : or slow pace or medium pace (2/3 songs a week or between 3 and 6 songs a week)

JUNE/JULY

Same than the rest of May then between 3 and 6 songs a week

AUGUST

No online airing for between August 5th and August 11th included (this means I'll work offline with the offline methods)
August 12th/19th : slow pace - 2 or 3 songs a week

Few days ago I posted a new where I explained the incident of data loss, which made me impossible to give to anyone many production files, such as .flp, .ust or .vsqx files.
I'll soon get back these files, but because of the size of all the data (yes, it's that huge), I think it won't be before at least 2 weeks. So, wait and see, and I'll tell you when all the files will be recovered. When it will be done, I'll be able to give back these files again if you request them.

For the moment, the requests of getting the project data are not allowed for :
- S01 ust files
- all S02 ust, vsqx and flp files
- all S03 .flp files until "Eve" not included
- all S03 .ust files until "Laura" included except for "White Dress" (got a copy from another computer when I made the VCV test)
- all S03 .vsqx files until "Eve" included

For all songs since "ANGELICIA", the requests are allowed because I can give the files (there are private saves elsewhere than on the main computer and the main disk).

So, what everything there does for the March album?

I had 3 choices depending of the date I could recover the data:

- Or I got everything back before March 16th and everything happens normally. This is the case that is the less likely to happen.
- Or I got everything back before March 24th. The air date of the album would be moved to March 25th (still on a Saturday, because in schedules, it's better to organize for me). Limited probability to happen since the amount of data to recover is very very huge...
- Or I got everything way after these dates and in this case, the air date of the album would not move (still on March 18th) but I would do again a booklet.

And considering the situation, the third case is the most likely to happen. No worries, the album tracks were all saved on another storage (else I would cancel the album or report it to another month, and that would be very annoying), the certificate has already been uploaded to the drive (where the little link in the .zip description points out) and the booklet is the only thing remaining to do (again!) at this point...

Other new, concerning the remix. This will finally be a remix of "Lience" with Lily. It will be featured on Tmbox only. No material will be on piapro! Air date: maybe April 24th or 25th in public. (Yes, that late, even if I didn't stop working on it the whole week!)
As for the April plan, if you know me quite well... Cover of "REJECT", and there are many chances I use Yukari for this one (no way I would do IA again, plus, to be honest, I really prefered Lily's version). No exact air date.

That's all for the moment, the next song you'll get is "Para-Normal", but since I worked on the remix a big part of the week, I was a bit slowed down on it... No worries, I don't think you'll wait too long either. (^-^)
